I remember the water being so COLD! Those vacations were so fun. No complicated orchestration. Got a house to rent and went for the week. We had to be able to walk to the beach, enough beds, kitchen and don't remember if we did laundry during the week. Simple meals were all that was required. We just soaked in beach, sand, waves and books.
